In any season, Venice can surprise you with its magical splendor. As soon as you get off the train or bus, you can get on a boat that will take you along the entire Grand Canal to Saint Mark's Square or right up to Lido. Before your eyes, you will see the facades of age-old aristocratic palaces. Heading into the shadow and under the majestic Rialto Bridge, traffic is more intense and city life concentrates. Just before St. Mark's Square, you will see to your right the majestic Salute Church with its impressive marble Baroque curves. Once you arrive in the famous St. Marks Square, take an amazing break in one of the elegant cafes in front of the basilica or bell-tower.

The entire Laguna with its islands, its villages and lights hides secrets of incomparable beauty. The boats along this line, after a pleasant journey, reach the main islands of Torcello, Murano, Burano, Mazzorbo, Lido, Pellestrina, etc.

From Venice, on board the Burchiello covering the winding Brenta river, you can admire the banks with giant trees and weeping willows, the majestic Palladian Villas, the summer homes of the Venetian nobles erected between 1500 and 1700.

The train will take you to Treviso in about 20 minutes. This small medieval towered city is surrounded by strong walls and crossed by the Sile river. The well-conserved historic center has a myriad of porticos and paved streets, aristocratic buildings and famous fourteenth-century buildings, some of which overlook the river and have ancient water-mills. There are numerous typical restaurants where you can taste dishes based on the renowned Trevigiano red chicory, perhaps accompanied by a real Prosecco, a slightly bubbly white wine from the area, famous for its excellent wine producing skills.
